STAGE BAND SPEECH

Senior speech 2016.

I've been in stage band for about 2 and a half years. In this amount of time I can honestly say that everyone in this room is so genuinely happy and authentic, which is so rare to find (and trust me, I've looked!) Every time that I come here, everyone is so full of energy and positivity (its actually contagious). Its so awesome that we're all able to come together once a week and just play music together. Growing up I always felt out of place and weird, but this is a place where I feel no judgement because we can all be weird together.

I'm going to miss every trip and every event that we sang in because it taught me the value of a group. Together; no matter what.

Anyways, to Mr. Marrone and Mr. Delacruz. I just wanted to say thank you for everything. First and foremost for making this band and letting us all have an outlet to come to rain or shine.

These past years have meant a lot to me, so thanks for the memories. If there's one thing I could leave with you...it's never to stop doing the thing you love. (Because really what is the point of life anyways?)
