ELECTRIC

A dream.

Let the chips fall where they may

And the world surround us in its unending bounty

When the stars fill the skies

Look into my eyes, with a smile that mimics mine

Creating the night, with weary bags under our eyes

The mist filling me with hope that we won't be seen

Because this moment was made just for us

The fire in my heart is igniting

The butterflies dancing in my stomach

The air between us filled with a new kind of tension

Sparks flying in the dark

Not the kind you can see but the kind you can feel

It shocks and awes me

Makes me feel better and stronger in a way

When your lips meet mine

It fills me with something I never experienced before

All I want to do is cry and scream and wake myself up before I fall to fast

But most of all I want to laugh

So I do

And you do too
